First heard Ray Blk early last year with an EP she had up on soundcloud (now deleted) but from then i had to research who this lady was! What proper caught me is that she is cheeky with her music, you know when you can tell someone is proper true to themselves… that was exactly what she portrays in her lyrics.
She announced a headline show on the 18th of April and of course i had to go! I literally only knew about 3 songs including one of her biggest hits, 50/50 and honestly just thought the show would be decent considering. BUT OMG… the show was so so SO sick! Like i came out of there buzzing!
The band was absolutely amazing, of course her vocals were on point and the songs that hadn’t been released yet were so good! She had Tiana Major for her support act and she totally blew me away, like…. actually just listen.
And if that wasnt enough, Ray blk had Avelino featuring on one of her tracks AND Stormzy which was a shock to everyone there because the track ‘My Hood’ wasn’t released just yet, but of course, as you already know its a banger!

Honestly i rate this girl so much man, she has another headline show coming up on the 26th of September in Shepherds Bush Empire; she’s got performances in New York & LA this month, she was booked for some sick festivals… yeh man its all going so well and i know shes only gunna get better.
