London based Frank Ekwa has been in the music scene for a minute now working with such artists as Bamboss and his boy Levelle London where he is featured on his debut EP – Traits of an Empath Vol.1
He has always stayed true to his music and this is what caught my attention. Described as the modern day ODB, Ekwa has a unique sounds which can be seen through influences of 90’s hip hop.
It always shocks me when I discover new artists that I believe should have already blown, coz this guy defo should. First saw him perform at the IAMNEXT showcase in January and I couldn’t stop grinning. He is definitely added to my list as one of the UK’s best performers and his tunes are super catchy, for the rest of the week I had his tunes stuck in my head, which I still can’t find online -__-
I proper can’t wait to see what he’s got under his belt, more music, more performances, more videos.
